Murmuration
介護施設に暮らす高齢の男性ピートは、自分が突然鳥に変わりつつあることに気づき、その結果、行動が制限されるようになる。それでも、まだ仲間に受け入れられてはいるが、そろそろ新しい群れに加わる頃合いだと感じる。
Piet, an elderly man in a care home, gets restricted in his actions when he realizes he is suddenly turning into a bird. Even though he is still accepted within the group, Piet feels it is time to join a new swarm.

 Janneke Swinkels, Tim Frijsinger オランダのマーストリヒトの美術学校で出会った2人は同地を生活と仕事の拠点とし、主に受注でアニメーションとイラストを制作している。ベルギーのゲント王立美術アカデミーでのヤネケの修士号卒業制作は、介護施設に暮らす祖父を題材にしたドキュメンタリーで、『マーマレーション』の着想の原点となった。 Janneke Swinkels and Tim Frijsinger live and work together in Maastricht (NL), creating animations and illustrations, mostly on commission. They met studying at the Art Academy there. Janneke's master's graduation documentary at KASK Ghent (BE), about her grandfather who lived in a care home, planted the first seed for "Murmuration". |
