クリスマスが来るというのに、グンナルとユニラの兄妹は病気で寝込み、退屈していた。そんな時、父親が古い鳩時計を取り出すと、中の鳩が生きているかのように動き出し、リンドグレーンによる不思議な物語を語り始める。2人はサイモン・スモール、エーミル、ブレンダ・ブレイブ、トムテンとキツネなどの世界を冒険する。家族みんなで楽しめる素敵なクリスマス映画。
Christmas is coming, but the siblings Gunnar and Gunilla are ill in bed and bored. When their father takes out an old cuckoo clock, they discover that the living cuckoo tells magical stories by Astrid Lindgren. They experience adventures with Simon Small, Emil, Brenda Brave and Tomten and the Fox – a wonderful Christmas film for the whole family!

With Are Austnes (Norway), she co-directed "Tomten and the Fox", winner of awards at Annecy, L.A., and Animest. Together they also co-directed "Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel" (2025), selected for Annecy Presents. |
