フランスのとある入江の岩場。利己的な小さなヤドカリのバーナードは住処の貝殻を失ってしまう。彼は別の貝殻を見つけるために、砂浜に潜む様々な危険に立ち向かわなければならない。彼を守ってくれる奇妙な小さな蟹と仲間になって、二人で様々な危機を一緒に乗り越えるうちに、友情が芽生えてゆく。
In a French rocky inlet, Bernard, a small and selfish hermit crab loses his shell. He will have to face dangers of the beach to find another one. In the company of a weird little crab which helps protecting him, both will live multiples adventures that will befriend them.
