勉強をして、クラスで優等生でいる。よい学校に入り、優秀な成績で卒業する。そうしてハシゴを昇り詰めると、そこにはパラダイスが待っていると言う。しかし、それは本当に素晴らしい人生と未来なのだろうか。韓国の受験戦争を風刺した怖い作品。

 Hur Bum-Wook 1983年、ソウル生まれ。韓国映画アカデミー(KAFA)でアニメーションを学んだ。長編デビュー作品『On The White Planet』は2015年のオランダアニメーション映画祭でグランプリを受賞。『ガラパゴス』は3作目のアニメーション作品である。現在は長編アニメーション2作目となる『Pigs That Survived Foot-and-Mouth Disease(仮題)』を制作中。 Born in 1983 in Seoul, director HUR studied animated film at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA). His feature debut film "On The White Planet" won Grand Prix Award at the Holland Animation Film Festival in 2015. "Galapagos" is his third short animated film. He is currently working on his second feature animated film with a working title "Pigs That Survived Foot-and-Mouth Disease". |
