WARSAW, 1975. KAPUŚCIŃSKI IS A BRILLIANT VETERAN JOURNALIST, AN IDEALIST AND A FRIEND OF LOST CAUSES AND REVOLUTIONS.
At the polish press agency, he convinces his boss to send him to Angola where a bloody civil war has broken out on the eve of the country’s independence. He embarks on a seemingly suicidal road trip into the heart of the civil war. Angola will change him forever: it was a reporter that left Poland, but it was a writer that returned.

1975年のワルシャワ、カプシンスキは素晴らしいベテランのジャーナリストであり、また理想主義者で、見込みの無い活動や革命の友と呼べる男でもあった。
彼は、国の独立前夜に血みどろの内戦が勃発したアンゴラへ派遣してくれるよう、ポーランドの通信社で上司を説得する。彼は、一見自殺ともとれる内戦の心臓部に向けての旅に出発する。アンゴラは彼を大きく変えてしまう：ポーランドを出たのは記者であったのに、戻って来たのは作家であった。

Director	Raul de la Fuente & Damian Nenow ラウル・デ・ラ・フエンテ&ダミアン・ネノウ Raúl de la Fuente is know for his short film “Minerita”, winner of the 2014 Goya Award, which was shortlisted for the 88th Oscars Academy Awards as Best Short Documentary Subject in 2015. “Minerita” has been screened in more than 140 film festivals and has won 45 international prizes. Damian Nenow joined Platige Image in 2005. He graduated of the National Film School in Łódz and directed three short animations: The Aim (2005), The Great Escape (2006), and Paths of Hate (2010). The latter was screened at over 90 film festivals and ended up garnering 25 awards and honors. In 2011, he also directed City of Ruins, among others. ラウル・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督は短編映画『Minerita』で有名である。同作品は2014年ゴヤ賞で最優秀賞を受賞、2015年の第88回アカデミー賞ではアカデミー短編ドキュメンタリー映画賞の最終選考に残った。『Minerita』は140以上の映画祭で上映され、45の国際賞を受賞している。ダミアン・ネノウ監督は2005年にPlatige Imageに加わった。ウッチのウッチ映画大学を卒業し、『The Aim』(2005年)、『The Great Escape』(2006年)、『Paths of Hate』(2010年) の3作の短編アニメを監督している。このうち『Paths of Hate』は90以上の映画祭で上映され、ついには25の賞や表彰を獲得している。さらに2011年には、同監督は『City of Ruins』を含む作品の監督を務めている。
