1年以上のロングラン上映となっている、「この世界の片隅に」の「アニメ オブ ザ イヤー部門・作品賞」受賞を記念して、片渕須直監督のマスタークラスを行います。
TAAF2018では、片渕監督に原作をアニメーション映画にするために、どんなことを考え、どんなことに注意を払ったか、秘蔵の参考映像を紹介しながら、数秒のカットの裏側に潜む模索を語って頂きます。

In commemoration of the year-long running ‘In This Corner of the World’ winning the Anime of the Year, we will be conducting a masterclass with director Sunao Katabuchi.

At TAAF2018, Director Katabuchi will be talking about his thoughts and how to turn a script into an animation.

While being introduced to never before seen reference footage, you will have the chance to hear about what goes on behind the scenes to create even a few seconds of work.
