It has been decided that the latest movie of world-conquering secret society Eagle Talon, “Talon 7: Her Majesty’s Joboob,” is to be screened as the opening film for TAAF 2014 (world premiere). There will be greetings by the casts and creators before the screening. © ET7

A special film screening will be held to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the birth of Osamu Tezuka, the legendary Japanese cartoonist, manga author, and animator. The Osamu Tezuka works to be screened are Astro Boy, Black Jack, and Kimba the White Lion. Further commemorative events are also planned.
Tokyo Anime Award Festival Official Logo was announced! The symbols of Japanese culture, cherry blossoms and fireworks, are designed abstractly to adorn the logo. The petals of cherry blossoms, which remind Japanese people of spring, are radially-arranged to shape a firework, to show the image of Japanese animation culture spreading all over the world.
Mr. Yves Nougarède who is a programming manager of Festival Annecy confirmed as a Jury member of Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2014 (TAAF2014). Annecy International animated film Festival is biggest and most well known animated festival in the world. Also he brings special program “The best of Annecy” to TAAF 2014.
