Dive into the making of “Julián”, the upcoming film from Oscar ® nominated studio Cartoon Saloon which tells the story of a boy who wants to be a mermaid. Director Louise Bagnall will talk through the origin, development and production of the film adapted from the best-selling picture book, “Julián Is A Mermaid”.
数々の作品がアカデミー賞にノミネートされているスタジオ、Cartoon Saloon。同スタジオが制作中の長編作品『Julián』は、人魚になりたいと願う少年の物語。ベストセラーの絵本『ジュリアンはマーメイド』を原作とする本作品について、監督のルイーズ・バグナルが企画・開発から制作までの舞台裏を語る。

 ルイーズ・バグナル Louise Bagnall is an artist and filmmaker from Dublin who works at Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny, Ireland. Bagnall wrote and directed the Oscar® nominated short animated film "Late Afternoon". Her feature film debut "Julián", about a boy who wants to be a mermaid, will be released in 2026. ダブリン出身のアーティスト兼映像作家。アイルランドのキルケニーを拠点とするCartoon Saloonに所属している。アカデミー賞ノミネートの短編アニメーション『Late Afternoon』の脚本と監督を務めた。人魚になりたいと願う少年を描いた長編デビュー作『Julián』は、2026年に公開予定。 |
