TAAF2025 招待作品

日本では見る機会の少ないエストニアの短編集を上映します。Nukufilm は、ソビエト時代の1957年に同国で創設されたストップモーションのアニメーション制作会社です。上映後には、同社のプロデューサー、ケルディ・オエンゴ氏に登壇いただき、作品だけでなく、Nukufilmやエストニアの魅力について語って貰います。
「おとぎの国」と呼ばれる美しいエストニアで作られた、奇妙で不思議な作品の世界をご堪能ください。

We will screen Estonian short films that are rarely seen in Japan. Nukufilm is a stop-motion animation studio founded in the country in 1957 during the Soviet era. After the screening, we invite Ms. Kerdi Oengo, the company’s producer to talk about the films and the charm of Estonia. Please enjoy the world of strange and mysterious films made in beautiful Estonia, known as “fairyland”.

『チックタック』は時間とその宿命的な性質を映像化している。時計職人は時間を操作するが、時計職人の工房に住むネズミは時計を操作する…時間とその儚さを描いた作品。

Animated film “Tick-Tack” is visualizing time and it’s fatal nature. Watchmaker controls the time, but the mouse living in the watchmaker’s workshop controls the clocks… This is a film about time and its ephemeral nature.

また会えたね‘til we meet again

運命によって、故郷の島から遠く離れてしまった老女の物語。ようやく帰郷した時、彼女の家には見知らぬ人々が家に住んでいた。

This is a story about an elderly woman whose destiny has taken her far away from her home island. She is finally able to return, only to find out that strangers have been living in her house.

海辺の砂は空気、太陽、命や愛のように自然なもの。痕跡が砂に描く、果て無き物語が問いかける。無くなってしまう前に、これらの物を大切にできるのだろうか？と。砂とサンドガイが去ると、ストーンガイが目を開ける。彼は留まるのか、やはり去ってしまうのか？

Sand on the beach is as natural as air, sun, life, love. The trails draw on the sand their endless stories asking, can we value these things before they are gone forever? When the sand and Sandguy have left and the Stoneguy opens his eyes, does he stay or leave too?

バレエダンサーのセルゲイは、不幸にも郊外のコルホーズに送られることになった。ここで彼は、日常と家畜、そしてアルコールとのありふれた戦いを繰り広げている。

Ills of fortune have deported a ballet dancer Sergei to a suburban kolhoz. Here he’s having his mundane fights against routine, domestic animals and alcohol.
