精霊の守り人 第一話「女用心棒バルサ」
Guardian of the Spirit Episode 1 “Balsa, the Female Bodyguard”
短槍使いの女用心棒・バルサは、２年ぶりに訪れた新ヨゴ皇国で、川に振り落とされた皇子を助ける。その少年は、新ヨゴ皇国の第二皇子・チャグムだった。彼は何か得体の知れないモノにとり憑かれ、これを疎ましく思う父帝が、亡き者にしようとしているというのだ。ニノ妃は、バルサの腕を見込んで、チャグムの用心棒を引き受けてくれと頼む。帝を敵に回すという、命の保証がない仕事をなぜか引き受けたバルサは、チャグムをつれて宮を脱出するのだった。
A female body guard with a short sword, Barusa, visited a town in the New Yogo
Empire and happened to help a boy who was shaken off into a river from the
carriage drawn by the ox which suddenly went wild. The boy she helped was, in
fact, Chagum, the second prince of the Empire.
