アニメーションスタジオ「カートゥーン・サルーン」の最新作『ウルフウォーカー』を上映します。TAAF2015 コンペティション部門・長編アニメーションのグランプリに輝いた『ソング・オブ・ザ・シー 海のうた』のトム・ムーアと、同作ではコンセプト・アーティストを務めたロス・スチュアートがタッグを組んだ最高傑作です。今回は両監督の挨拶ビデオ付きで上映されます。
また、TAAF2021のプレイベントとして行った細田守監督とトム・ムーア／ロス・スチュアート監督とのスペシャル対談もYouTubeのTAAF公式チャンネルにて絶賛配信中です。

We have a special screening of “Wolfwalkers”, the latest work of animation studio, Cartoon Saloon. “Wolfwalkers” is the masterpiece which was directed by Tomm Moore who won the Grand Prize by “Song of the Sea” in Feature Animation Competition of TAAF2015, and Ross Stewart who took a charge of concept art in “Song of the Sea”. A greeting message from the two directors, Tomm and Ross will be released at the screening as well.

In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night.
