日本のアニメーションの礎を築いたアニメーション映画監督・高畑勲は、昨年惜しくも82年の生涯を閉じました。
TAAF2019では、高畑監督の残した多くの作品の中から選りすぐりの作品を上映すると伴に、足跡を偲ぶトークショーなどを行います。
ー原作を尊重し、原作を超える演出ー
原作の世界をそのままアニメーションにした作品です。
キャラクターのポーズ、町並み、声優陣を含め高畑勲ならではの緻密な原作の再現で、映画になった作品はマンガともひと味違う情緒の深い作品となっています。
本プログラムでは、貴重なデジタルリマスター版（ブルーレイ）の上映後、当時、高畑勲監督を間近で見ていたスタッフと、学生時代にこの作品に触れて、今やトップクリエイターとなった方とのトークもお楽しみいただけます。
This work faithfully animates the world of the original manga. While carefully reproducing the original, this emotionally profound fi lm distinguishes itself from the manga with Takahata’s unique character poses, townscape and selection of voice actors.After screening the exquisite digitally remastered version (Blu-ray), you can look forward to a talk featuring staff who worked by Takahata’s side during the production, as well as an individual who was inspired by the work as a student and has since become a top creator.
あらすじ
小学5年生の竹本チエは、父のテツに代わって家業のホルモン焼き屋を、ひとりできりもりしている。ある日、テツのバクチの取り立てにやってきた遊興倶楽部の社長が、座興に愛猫のアントニオをチエのネコ・小鉄にけしかけた。ところがアントニオは小鉄に破れて昇天、気落ちしてカタギのお好み焼きをはじめた社長は、鉄を用心棒に雇ってくれた。せっかくの就職だったが、縁日でチエが別居中の妻・ヨシ江と会っているのを目撃したテツは・・・・。

1966年10月13日大阪府生まれ。16歳の時に、大阪の作画スタジオ、アニメアールでアニメーターとしての活動を始める。10代の頃より、原画や作画監督として活躍。『老人Ｚ』への参加を機にフリーとなり上京。
近年では「ももへの手紙」、「日本アニメ（ーター）見本市 『旅のロボから』」などの作品で、監督だけでなく、原案や脚本の才能も発揮している。
Hiroyuki Okiura was born on October 13 in 1966, in Osaka Japan. He started his animator life from an animation studio AnimeR in Osaka, and brushed his talent as a key animator and a 2D animation director until he left for Tokyo to join “Roujin Z.” In recent years, he expands his talent not only as a director but as a planner and a script writer such as in “A Letter to Momo” and “Roboto on the Road”, the short film series “Japanese Anima(tor)’s Exhibition”.

1965年生まれ。亜細亜大学、大正大学、東京工学院アニメーション科 講師。
国内外の短編・長編アニメーションの研究を中心に活動し、朝日新聞報道サイト「WEBRONZA」連載の取材記事や多数の新聞・雑誌に寄稿。
著書に「日本のアニメーションを築いた人々」（若草書房）「宮崎駿全書」（フィルムアート社）「『アナと雪の女王』の光と影」(七つ森書館)、 編著に「マンガで探険! アニメーションのひみつ」全3巻（大月書店）など。
Born in 1965. A lecturer at the General education departments of Asia University and Taisho University, and animation departments of Technos College.
Primarily engaged in research of long and short form animation from both Japan and abroad. Has written analytic news articles and commentary for Asahi Shimbun’s News website“Webronza” and other publications. Published works include “The People who built up of Japanese Animation” (Wakakusa Books), “The complete of Hayao Miyazaki Films” (Film Art, Inc.), “That Light and Darkness of Disney’s Frozen”(Nanatsumori Books). Editing and Writing series “Explore with manga! The Secret of Animation” (Otsuki Books) , etc.

1952年4月28日生まれ。福岡県出身。
高校卒業後、大阪で半年間のサラリーマン生活を送った後に上京後、
OH!プロダクションを等を経て、1980年にテレコム・アニメーションフィルムへ入社。
『ルパン三世 カリオストロの城』(1979年)のカーチェイスのシーンを担当。
『リトル・ニモ』(1984年)のパイロット版映像はアメリカのアニメ業界でも評判を呼んだ。
『ルパン三世 PART Ⅳ』（2015年）、『ルパン三世 イタリアン・ゲーム』（2016年）では、総監督を務めている。
Kazuhide Tomonaga was born in Fukuoka on April 28,1952. After graduating from high school, he worked as a corporate employee in Osaka for about half a year, moved to Tokyo to work for Oh! production, and joined Telecom Animation Film Co., Ltd. in 1980. He was in charge of the car chase sequences in the 1979 “Lupin the 3rd-The CASTLE of CAGLIOSTRO”. One of his well-known works is the 1984 “Little Nemo” pilot film, which received critical acclaim in the American animation industry as well as in Japan.
He directed TV seriese“Lupin the 3rd -Part 4”(2015) and TV special “Lupin the 3rd – Italian Game”.
